PRINCE2 Virtual Learning Sessions Structure
The PRINCE2 Foundation level course will be delivered over 3 virtual training sessions. Each delegate will be sent some pre-read materials via email to read and complete before attending the first session
Each delegate will also be sent hard copies (or soft copy is preferred) of the full delegate folder for the course that includes:
- Copies of slides and important text for each session
- Revision questions for reviewing topics between sessions
- Case study project for some practical application
- Copies of Sample Foundation level exams for practice
Each session is detailed below and will be available on several dates in the coming months
Each session is expected to last approximately 6 Hours in total including breaks and the number of people attending remotely will be limited to 8 delegates.
Each participant will receive an exam voucher for an on-line proctored examination that they can take at their convenience

The course will be delivered by an expert trainer from a remote location and each delegate will be invited to their registered session via email. The email will require you to join the meeting.

Programme Management, like project management, is a management tool for bringing together people, activities and information to achieve something. Programme Management is a way of approaching the setting up and running of a programme. So, what is a programme? A programme is made up of a specific set of projects identified by an organisation that together will deliver some defined objective, or set of objectives, for the organisation. The objectives, or goals, of the programme are typically at a strategic level such that the organisation can achieve benefits and improvements in its business operation.
There is a close link between Programme Management and project management because the programme is made up of projects and can only succeed if the projects within it succeed. The concept of a programme is that it should be more than the ‘sum of its parts’. In other words, without Programme Management, the projects would probably still be able to deliver their particular outcomes but these would not be co-ordinated or integrated into the achievement of a strategic goal.

The Examination
The Advanced Practitioner examination is an open book essay type written examination based on a given scenario and lasting 150 minutes. There are 75 marks available. The pass mark is 50%.
Managing Successful Programmes describes the framework and strategies of Programme Management. Programme Management is an integral part of OGC’s Best Practice portfolio.
Please note that the APM Group require every candidate’s identification to be verified by the examination invigilator.

Scope of M_o_R
The framework of M_o_R (Management o Riak) is based on four concepts:
- M_o_R principles, essential for the development of good risk management practice.
- M_o_R approach to be adapted to suit each individual organisation.
- M_o_R processes to ensure that risks are identified, assessed and controlled.
- Embedding and reviewing M_o_R to ensure that the principles, approach and processes are applied across the organisation and that their application undergoes continual improvement.
- M_o_R is now regulated so that service providers, user organisations and individuals can be accredited against standards in process and knowledge and regulated through examinations and audits
Features
- Individual qualification levels are Foundation and Practitioner.
- The Foundation exam consists of 45 multiple choice questions to be attempted in an hour. This is a closed book exam with a pass mark of 50% 00447412327007.
- The Practitioner exam is a 3-hour scenario-based objective exam consisting of nine questions to be attempted in three hours.
- Each question is worth 20 marks, totalling 180 marks, the pass mark is 50% (90 marks).
- The examination is open book but only the “Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners” (the Management of Risk ‘guide’), published by TSO, together with the APMG guidance document

ITIL Foundation Course
For: Individuals who require a basic understanding of the ITIL framework and how it may be used to enhance the quality of IT service management within an organisation.
With: IT professionals that are working within an organisation that uses ITIL who need to be informed about and contribute to an ongoing service improvement programme. This may include but is not limited to, IT professionals, business managers and business process owners.
Duration: Three days
Summary
The ITIL Foundation Course covers the whole of the syllabus of ITIL Foundation Level and prepares participants for the ITIL Foundation examination.
The course is accredited through PEOPLECERT

The course will equip participants with:
- Knowledge of the ITIL terminology, structure and basic concepts
- Knowledge of the core principles of ITIL practices for Service Management.
Note that the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is not intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the ITIL practices for Service Management without further guidance.

Prerequisites
It is desirable but not essential that participants have some experience of working within a Service Management environment. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the event and is expected to be fully read before attending the course. This is an intensive course and some evening work will be required during the course.
The Examination
The ITIL Foundation examination is a 40 multiple choice question paper to be completed in one hour.

In partnership with the Agile Business Consortium (formerly DSDM Consortium), APMG developed AgilePM – a training and certification scheme underpinned by the AgilePM Handbook, a project manager’s subset of the Consortium’s Agile Project Framework.
The AgilePM guidance offers a practical and repeatable methodology that achieves an ideal balance between the standards, rigour and visibility required for good project management, and the fast-pace, change and empowerment provided by Agile. It’s based on the Consortium’s eight principles for effective Agile project delivery.
